This paper proposes a method of blind detection on audio information hiding technique based on the characteristics of the human cochlear. Cochlear delay (CD) is a good concept to produce non-blind imperceptible audio information hiding technique. However, the blind version of this technique had a problem in imperceptibility aspect due to spread of spectrum of phase shift keying (PSK). PSK caused significant changes in phase spectrum which leads to bad imperceptibility aspect. In this research, linear time variant (LTV) system was considered since it can produce smoother phase spectrum changes than linear time nvariant (LTI) system. However, detecting the instantaneous phase from the LTV CD filter is a difficult task. Chirp-z transformation (CZT) with instantaneous position in complex-plane was applied to detect the pole position of the CD filter. Results of simulations showed that the proposed method can successfully retrieve the hidden information. |
