Dielectric properties of biological tissues are the physical constants which are essential for research on the human safety by electromagnetic field exposure and on the healthcare and medical application. Authors have been focused on coaxial sensors for measurement of biological tissues. Coaxial sensors allow wide-band measurement and do not require precise fabrication of samples; thus, it is effective for measurement of dielectric properties of biological tissues. This study presents result of error analysis for the measurement using the coaxial sensor which we had developed. Here, the error factor due to measurement system and the variation due to biological tissues were separated and compared using uncertainty analysis. |
