The magnetic component design is a traditional problem and several design procedures were proposed in the power electronics.
But there are no well-established criteria for selecting the core for the design of inductors.
As the solution to solve this problem, Ap method and Kg method are proposed.
By using proposed method, designer can select the optimum core from numerous cores.
But in previous studies, caluculation process is required. So it takes a lot of time and caluclation costs.
This paper presents the inductor optimization software equipped with the $A_p$ method and $K_g$ method.
By using the proposed software, it is possible to reduce the time and caluclation costs.
Furthermore by using self-made circuit simulator, the current flowing through the inductor is acquired, and it is possible to design an inductor of all circuits from a single definition formula.
This paper presents a design example of class-E amplifier including a Rf-choke inductor and a resonant inductor. |
