A hybrid circuit breaker consisted of power semiconductor devices and varistor connected in parallel with an electrical contact is extensively studied. This study shows the current interruption up to 1 kA at DC 1 kV using two 1.2 kV, 444 A SiC-MOSFETs connected in series. |
