Thermoacoustic phenomenon is an energy conversion phenomenon between heat and sound. Many researches have been reported to improve an energy conversion efficiency of thermoacoustic engines. As the one of the method of improvement way, a Heat Phase Adjuster (HPA) is proposed. In this report, we investigated the factors that change the amount of energy amplification from the standpoint of the standing wave ratio inside the tube. As a result, it was suggested that the amount of energy amplification decreased because the standing wave component decreased due to excessive heat input to HPA. It is suggested that the amount of energy amplification is adjusted by changing the traveling wave component and the standing wave component by HPA. |
