Detection of mouse sleep-stages using hidden Markov model and random forest

(in English) Fully automatic determination of the sleep stages (non-REM, REM, arousal) of the mouse is important in improving the memory research.
Although FASTER is known as a main determination method, there is a problem that determination can not be made in real time.
Therefore, we proposed a sleep stage determination method by random forest and simple time series correction in 2018 using mouse brain wave data [1].
In this research, we improve it and propose sleep stage determination method using random forest and hidden Markov model.
By using the hidden Markov model, the information after one epoch, which was necessary in [1], becomes unnecessary, making it possible to make a more real time determination.
