Emotion discrimination using features from facial expression and EEG

(in English) In recent years many researches have been conducted to discriminate emotions using machine learning. There are studies to distinguish feelings from facial expressions and brain waves (EEG) in the research. Among them, research results have been learned that the discrimination result obtained by combining facial expression and brain wave is better than the discrimination result obtained by using facial expression and electroencephalogram, respectively. We were wondering whether elements of both facial expression and electroencephalogram are really necessary in order to discriminate emotion. Therefore, in this study, we focus on the discrimination of emotion by facial expression and brain wave, and the relationship between facial expression and EEG. We tried to distinguish emotion induced by experiments using facial expression and brain waves and decided to analyze relation facial expression with brain waves.
