Radar Target Recognition Framework with Convolutional Neural Networks

(in English) A Range-Doppler map is generated by processing a distant target signals measured by a radar. However, extracting features from the Range-Doppler map is a difficult problem because it has less discriminative features and high level noises. To overcome this problem, we apply a CNN to extract valid features for high accurate recognition. In our experiments, we found that we can recognize it with a high accuracy of 99% or more in an ideal environment, with an accuracy about 90% under an actual environment.
