When operating the Sub6GHz-band massive element Active Antenna System (AAS) for 5 G in high power region, Downlink (DL) SINR to each terminal deteriorates due to the nonlinear distortion which is occurred in the transmitter of AAS, and it became clear that the nonlinear distortion greatly influences the spatial multiplexing performance. Therefore, in this paper, in order to investigate the specificity of nonlinear distortion radiation for AAS, the radiation specificity for the third-order intermodulation distortion (IM3) by 2 tone and the Multitone distortion by OFDM transmission are verified using AAS with Digital Predistortion (DPD). As a result, it is confirmed that the Multitone distortion due to OFDM is also radiated mainly in the same direction as the desired wave for each multiple direction, as similar to the IM3 specificity at 2 tone radiation. |
