Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, utilization of wireless networks has been extremely increased by mobile devices, and the devices equip various wireless network interfaces such as 4G and WiFi. By using Multipath TCP (MPTCP) that can stream multiple TCP flows simultaneously over multiple network communication standards and paths, the mobile device users can expect improvement and robustness of mobile TCP throughputs. However, current MPTCP congestion control algorithms are not well-designed for wireless networks. Therefore, in this paper, to improve the TCP throughput for wireless networks, we propose a weighted Veno (wVeno) that is an extension of TCP Veno and validate its performance by using Mininet.
