Proposal of three-port probe for non-invasive millimeter-wave blood glucose monitoring systems

(in English) In this paper, we propose a three-port probe for non-invasive millimeter-wave blood glucose monitoring systems. The probe includes one transmission port, one detection port and one reference port. The frequency used in numerical analysis is ranged from 55 GHz to 85 GHz. For analysis, we make a thin tissue model. The results show the potential of using three-port probe for blood glucose monitoring. The deviation of using only S21 shows non-monotonic changes which will influence the glucose concentration estimation. However, by using reference port, we succeed in making the deviation of magnitude and phase linearlized.
