(in English) This invited lecture outlines European research project which is one of the places to promote the research after introducing the aspects of future wireless access,
Commercial service of the future mobile communications, 5G, will be launched soon. Along with this, the research focus is shifting from 5 G to the next step, so called 5G evolution, and further to beyond 5G. Therefore, it is expected that researches for future wireless access will be hot topics in near future. This lecture will outline the expected research aspects for long-term wireless access.
There are a few ways to promote such researches. They are independent research done by own organization, joint research conducted in collaboration with other organization(s) and research done in projects with budget support from government agencies, foundations, etc. As the third way, this lecture will outline EU project that Ericsson is partly participating. Then, each project will be summarized grouping into concept, vertical, architecture, technology and testbed. And some of typical or distinctive projects will be selected and introduced respectively.
