| (in English) | Gazing behaviors based on knowledge of instructors are expressed during tutoring activities. The knowledge is acquired with the points of training actions. In this study, we analyze the gaze tendency of instructors and evaluate the system that its observations give novice instructors as significant gazing point in focusing on the gazing behaviors of masters on Karatedo, for the purpose of supporting a promotion of instructors. We presented Kata of Karatedo for participants, and recorded their gaze data using an eye-tracking device, and analyzed the distribution of gaze points on body parts of a Kata performer. From the evaluation of the part of interest in gazes, masters tend to gaze at limbs which are important from the view of a whole posture, while novices tend to gaze at one which is important from the view of separate tasks. As a system evaluation, we took the questionnaire on the system output for novice instructor. As the part importance in gazing, we presented the estimated areas from masters' eye movements and ones from masters' and novices' eye movements. We obtained results that both presented ways were preferred by almost the same numbers of subjects. | |
