| (in English) | A series of processes from design to measurement of a stepped impedance low-pass filter was examined. Refer to the commercially available microwave experiment kit for the deviation of the cutoff frequency that occurs in the design theory, it is found that the line length correction can solve the problem. Then the same design method is applied to an inexpensive FR-4 substrate. It is possible to obtain the same LPF characteristics as a commercial microwave experiment kit using a Teflon substrate by selecting a low impedance line appropriately. It is confirmed that the frequency characteristics of the manufactured sample agree with the design value by the circuit simulator and the result of electromagnetic field simulation up to 5 GHz. | |
