In recent years, the development of the drone technology is progressing significantly, and its practical applications
for logistics and surveillances have put into use. In the future, the remote operation system of multi-drone via the LTE network will be necessary. We developed the system for the wide-area operation of multi-drone with SSL/TLS protocol which is secure and has a high affinity to the wide area communication such as the LTE network and the Internet. Furthermore, we deployed the Vernam’s One-Time Pad (OTP) encryption as an application on SSL/TLS to select the presence of OTP encryption on payloads according to application. Therefore, the information-theoretically secure communication based on OTP encryption in the application layer, is available despite any eavesdrops on the communication encrypted by SSL/TLS.
