Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Smart factories can be realized by effective and flexible placement of IoT sensors in all the equipment. Even though many energy efficient solutions are aimed at enhancing the life time of an IoT sensor, additional maintenance is required to replace batteries after a stipulated amount of time. To overcome this additional burden and realize Maintenance-Free IoT sensors, Space Time Beam Forming (STBF) algorithm based on microwave power transfer in 5.7 GHz band is already proposed. In this work, we evaluated STBF experimentally and verified the received power.
