| (in English) | In this paper, we analyze trends with concerning progress of optical access systems in terms of applications and functions, consider roles and identify issues regarding the systems in future communication systems assuming in the full-scale diffusion period of 5G and IoT related services. Finally, we propose solutions based on technologies related to network virtualization and intelligence, and evaluate their applicability. | |
