A Consideration of Modeling User Interface Patterns based on Screen Transition Model

(in English) In this paper, we report a result of considering a method to semi-automatically apply UI pattern to a functional design model toward reducing the design cost of Web applications with high usability. More specifically, in this study, using an existing screen transition model as a functional design model, we explored a method to model UI patterns based on the screen transition model and then semi-automatically apply the pattern models to the screen transition model. In the preliminary evaluation of the method under consideration, it is investigated manually whether it is possible to express UI patterns implemented in an actual Web application by using the pattern models, and this paper summarized the resulting findings and issues.
