| 抄録 | （和） | 世界中の都会で歩行者の群集は日常的な物となった。特に交通機関やスポーツセンターやショッピングモールで大勢の群集のマネジメントが問題となっている。群集マネジメントを難しい課題とする要素には歩行者の動きの複雑さや非効率的な情報提供などがあると考えられている。「混雑」が測れないことによって、群集の状況を把握するのがそもそも難しい一方、歩行者の属性と彼らの限定された指示コンプライアンスの影響で、制御方法の効果が小さくなる。本研究では両方の課題を解決しようとしている。まず群集の混雑を定量化する方法を紹介し、そして最適な情報提供を通じて効率的な群集マネジメント可能な戦略を述べる。本研究の結果が公共空間の効率的で快適な情報提供システム設計の助けになることが期待される。 |
| （英） | Pedestrian crowds are a common sight in every city around the globe. In particular, transportation facilities, sport venues and shopping centers are increasingly overwhelmed with the task of managing large crowds of people. Some of the elements which make crowd management a difficult task are the complexity of pedestrian motion and the inefficient way in which information are delivered to pedestrians. On one side, the impossibility to measure "congestion" makes it difficult to evaluate crowd conditions. On the other side, the heterogeneity of pedestrian crowds and the limited compliance of people to indications given, limit the effectiveness of control solutions. In this research, both aspects are being addressed. A method is presented to quantify congestion in crowds and optimal information delivery strategies are investigated to improve the communication with different types of pedestrian users. Results of this study may help designing information systems for public spaces which are both efficient and warmly welcomed by its users. | |
