We propose a mmWave-based scanning method which applies multistatic scheme and coprime measurements to reduce the number of antenna elements and the amount of data (phase centers). The efficacy of the proposed method is demonstrated using simulations on point target and flat target. The total number of elements of the proposed method is much less than that of the monostatic SAR. The total amount of data (phase centers) of the proposed method is much less than that of the multistatic standard SAR. These advantages greatly reduce the burden of antenna design and data processing. |
