The terahertz band enables ultra-high-speed transmission because of its wide bandwidth, which is expected to be used for uncompressed transmission of video signals. In this paper, we design a small wireless communication device for 300-GHz-band using CMOS transmitter/receiver. 10m real-time wireless video transmission using OFDM signal has been realized by phase noise reduction with self-heterodyne architecture and communication distance increase with Cassegrain antenna. |
