Additive Manufacturing (3D printer) can easily design and make parts with complex shapes. Because of that, it is used in various fields. Recently, Additive Manufacturing is examination not only prototype use but also practical parts use is progressing, and it is very important to understand characteristic of Additive Manufacturing. However, electrical insulation properties of Additive Manufacturing materials are little not revealed. In this study, we examined the dielectric breakdown characteristics of Additive Manufacturing samples made by selective laser sintering, also taking into account the effects of part-built orientation. In addition, we observed the cross section of the path of dielectric breakdown. |
