A study on magnitude of near electromagnetic fields in printed antennas

(in English) In this paper, the near field of the printed monopole antenna with a reflector and the microstrip antenna are discussed. The magnitude of the transmitting coefficient (S21) is simulated in the case that each antenna is located facing each other. Although the gain of the printed monopole antenna with a reflector is greater than that gain of the microstrip antenna, the magnitude of S21 of the printed monopole antenna with a reflector is similar to that of the microstrip antenna in the near field. It is clarified that the magnitude of S21 in the printed monopole antenna with a reflector can be improved by installing the reflector with side wall.
