While interesting physical properties such as spin hole magnetoresistance effect are observed in ferromagnetic/paramagnetic heavy metal bilayer films, various phenomena such as anisotropic magnetoresistance effect and magnetic Nernst effect caused by ferromagnetic proximity effect and Hanle magnetoresistance effect caused by electron motion are superimposed, and it is difficult to determine essential phenomena. These phenomena strongly depend on the interface state of the YIG/paramagnetic heavy metal, and the control becomes important. In the present study, we investigated magnetic and thermal conduction properties of a sample having a Pt thin film deposited on a YIG thin film having a thickness of 100 nm to elucidate various phenomena. |
