[Invited Talk] Evolutionary multiobjective optimization and nonlinear circuits

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Multiobjective optimization problems have been studies in various fields of science. The multiobjective optimization problems require the simultaneous optimization of multiple objective functions and we encounter various difficulties. One typical problem is the presence of conflicting objectives, where an improvement in one objective may cause a deterioration in another objective. The task is to find solutions which balance trade-offs. The solutions in a decision space correspond to the Pareto front in the objective space. In order to find the Pareto front effectively, various evolutionary algorithms have been presented. We have considered application of multiobjective evolutionary algorithms to design of nonlinear circuits and systems.
