Speech imagery recognition from Electroencephalogram (EEG) is one of the challenging technologies for non-invasive brain-computer-interface (BCI). In this report we regard the linguistic representation as the difference of line power-spectra of syllables observed at Broker area and develop the method for extracting line power-spectra in EEG signal. Then, seventeen syllables appeared in ten Japanese digits are extracted from continuously imagined speech by hand-labelling and evaluated. Experimental results for syllable recognition based on Subspace Method are described. |
