LPWAN is widely used for IoT because it can communicate over long distances and with low power consumption. However, when the antenna is raised, there is a possibility of receiving interference from wireless systems sharing the same frequency. Therefore, access control is performed for frequency sharing. In this paper, in Nagano City, we analyze the propagation distance characteristics for various antenna heights and the transmission distances for the height direction for frequency sharing using LoRaWAN and Wi-SUN as LPWAN standards in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture. As a result, we clarify the difference in transmission distance due to the difference in antenna height. |
