A Proposal of an Evaluation Method for Machine Learning Models based on Service Perspective Indicators
Shin Tezuka, Keisuke Hatasaki, Yoshiko Yasuda (Hitachi Ltd.) KBSE2019-36 SC2019-33
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The new services with machine learning models which generated from IT / OT data attract attention. On the other hand, especially when the service and model developers are different, frequent model updates do not always lead service quality improvement. Therefore, it is necessary to re-evaluate the model based on the service perspective indicators. However, preparation of the large-scale evaluation dataset is difficult for the service developers. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a model evaluation method using the model developer’s dataset and filtering processes. The method allows service developers to evaluate models based on service perspective indicators without dataset preparation and prevents disclose of dataset contents
