An adaptive interval adajustment method for an agent-based monitoring system

(in English) In recent years, with the increasing complexity of ICT services, the burden of operators for the service monitoring and the load on the monitoring target devices by the monitoring system is increasing. Operators are required to make appropriate settings for each component of the ICT service, take into account the properties of each component. In addition, whenever a component is added or changed, it need to reconfiguration. Furthermore, if operators mistake settings of monitoring, there is a possibility that service anomalies may not be detected or quality of service may be damaged. Therefore, it is required that the monitoring system automatically inputs and changes the monitoring setting according to the service. In this paper, we propose a dynamic adjustment method of scrape interval for a monitoring system. Finally, we show that the effectivity of the proposed method and evaluation result.
