Currently, NTT DOCOMO promotes the introduction of mobile communication base stations equipped with PVs and storage batteries, i.e., Green Base Transceiver Stations (Green-BTSs). Advantages of the Green-BTS enable us to improve disaster tolerance by securing emergency power supplies and increase environmental and economic benefits by utilizing solar power generation.
In our previous studies, we have investigated economic efficiency, environmental friendliness and disaster tolerance by integrally carrying out energy management of plural Green-BTSs.
In this paper, we apply the developed control method to a larger number of Green-BTSs and perform numerical simulation to evaluate the scale merit of the method from the various points of view such as economic, environmental and tolerant characteristics. |
