Experimental Study on Indoor Human Detection with Millimeter Wave Minimum Redundancy MIMO virtual array Radar.

(in English) The angular resolution in Direction Of Arrival(DOA) estimation with array antennas depends on array aperture. High cost problem and space problem will occur when the Uniform Linear Array(ULA) antenna element is inreased to improve the resolution. To overcome these problems, Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO) technique is often used. Furthermore, by changing array arrangement and/or applying Khatri-Rao transformation, virtual elements can expand with maximum efficiently. Therefore, high resolution can be achieved by less physical element. In this report, we will report the validity of nilliwave MIMO radar with minimum redundancy array arrangement(MRA-MIMO: Minimum Redundancy Array MIMO). We will show experimental results of multiple human position estimation in indoor coherent environment, and evaluate performances of the milliwave MRA-MIMO radar by show the results of practical target settings.
