(in English) Optical communication systems using GI-POF (Graded-index plastic optical fiber) are expected as high-speed data communication systems for data center and in-vehicle. On the other hand, it is known that multimode optical fiber has different optical characteristics depending on launching conditions. In this study, the change of modal power distribution and optical characteristics were evaluated by changing launching condition at the GI-POF connections.
