(in English) Named data networking (NDN) uses Interest packets to request content and Data packets to convey the content. While Interest packets are forwarded according to content names, they create state in a pending interest table (PIT) in intermediate routers. Corresponding Data packets are delivered along the revserse path using the state in the PITs. To realize the maximum forwarding speed of an NDN router, it is indispensable to parallelize packet processing. However, the compare and swap (CAS) instruction used to realize mutual exclusion degrades forwarding speed. This study designs a PIT for parallelized NDN routers, which eliminates mutual exclusion, while allowing NDN routers to generate errors that are able to recovered by packet retransmission.
