In the construction of 3D cells for mobile communication systems, it is important to prevent the interference between indoor base stations. Therefore, the prediction method is required for the propagation loss between indoors. In this report, we made a scale model of a simple room, and examined the mechanism of a building penetration loss. We measured the penetration loss at each incident angle, assumed distribution of incoming waves on the outdoors, and calculated the distance characteristics of penetration loss. It was confirmed that this result was close to the actual characteristic, the model of building penetration loss was proposed. Furthermore, the difference by frequency was also shown. |
