[Invited Lecture] Effect of Spatial Expansion on Radio Wave Propagation Characteristics in Large-scale Indoor Space

(in English) In recent years, Internet of Things (IoT) is spreading and increase of sensor networks and various device controls using wireless communications are expected in indoor environments. It is important for system design of wireless link to understand radio wave propagation characteristics in actual wireless communication environments. Radio wave propagation characteristics have not been studied enough in large-scale indoor space such as large commercial facilities and gymnasiums. In this paper, in the gymnasium assuming large-scale indoor space, we conducted measurement using a drone and radio wave propagation analysis by ray-tracing. In the indoor space, we showed effect of spatial expansion on radio wave propagation characteristics.
