For beyond 5G wireless communication systems, in-band full-duplex (IBFD) is one of the important candidate technologies for realizing high capacity and low latency transmissions. However, in the IBFD system, the base station will perform uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) processes simultaneously, and hence, there will be severe self-interference (SI) produced by the simultaneous UL and DL communications. Therefore, to realize the IBFD system, it is necessary to deal with the SI problem. In this study, we propose an IBFD wireless communication system which adopts an adaptive filter for SI cancellation, and evaluate the convergence performance by computer simulations for different system settings. From the simulation results, it can be found that different system settings result in various effects on the SI cancellation performance, which can provide some design hints for future system implementation. |
