A New Model of Flaming Phenomena Caused by Resonance to External Stimuli in Online Social Networks

(in English) The explosive user dynamics represented by flaming phenomena in online social networks sometimes can be a bad influence on our lives in the real world.
To take measures against flaming phenomena promptly, it is necessary to model universal features of them.
Our previous work has revealed, based on an oscillation model describing dynamics on networks, that flaming phenomena arise when some eigenvalues of the matrix expressing network structure are non-real numbers.
In this paper, we propose the model of flaming phenomena that is caused by the resonance to a periodic external stimulus even if all eigenvalues of the matrix are real numbers.
Also, we describe a theoretical framework for observing omen with the aim of preventive measures of flaming phenomena.
