Using the filter theory, the importance of external Q is explained in resonant power transmission using open ring resonators, With this the theory, non-contact power supply structures are designed, in which 5.8 GHz signal is transmitted through plastic films of several mm. Combining λ/4 antennas, the structure is used in power supply through a rectangular aluminum pipe. High-efficiency power transmission can be achieved by selecting the signal frequency. |
