Gene regulatory networks play an important role in the expression and activities of genes, where specific proteins and genes promote or suppress the expression of other genes through a chemical reaction. In this report, we focus on a method for reconstructing gene regulatory networks from multiple data sources including different types of information, such as the expression of genes and interactions between genes and proteins. We focus on the method called PANDA (Passing Attributes between Networks for Data Assimilation) and propose a method for estimating gene regulatory networks, incorporating a partial correlation technique to PANDA. Our results show that the proposed method can obtain more accurate gene regulatory networks than PANDA. |
