The specific absorption rate (SAR) is used for an assessment of a human exposure from wireless communication devices. Wireless devices used near a human body are required to assess a human exposure. To guarantee results of the human exposure assessment, the uncertainty evaluation for the SAR measurement is important. We have evaluated the uncertainty of SAR measurement system validation and the uncertainty of calibration for SAR probe, which is used for the SAR measurement. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed a dominant uncertainty source of the SAR measurement system validation and SAR probe calibration. In addition, we report a consideration for a feasibility of reducing the uncertainties. |
