Chiba University has been preparing for the introduction of media-facilitated classes in 2020, but its role has changed significantly due to the occurrence of COVID-19. The policy was changed to focus on on-demand video distribution and to emphasize student environmental considerations such as data traffic reduction. The design was changed and resources were increased as much as possible, and the corresponding operation was performed. One month has passed since the class started, and there is no problem in the load of the video distribution system itself, considering the usage of each server. It was confirmed that the packet saving function was effectively used by the students who needed it. |
