Utilization of utility pole for IoT service

(in English) In recent years, various IoT services have been actively discussed around the world. In this paper, we will discuss utilization of utility poles as outside plants for IoT services. Examples of services that utility poles include crime protection(surveillance cameras, and so on),public information(digital signage, and so on),transportation assistance (intersection danger notifications,, and so on), and report (emergency call, and so on). In this paper,we propose an obstacle detection system on the road (on-demand road surveillance) as an example in the crime protection.Furthermore,we will describe the implementation of a prototype system that applies image analysis technology for surveillance cameras and object recognition technology by AI platform.
