Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this research, we have developed a system that performs data communication by embedding information in high frequency band which is inaudible components of sound signal. Sound communication signals are characterized in that they are difficult to identify due to disturbances such as environmental noise and Doppler effect. In this paper, we discuss the possibility of sound communication that employs image recognition technique based on applying a neural network to sound spectrogram. This paper describes some experimental results evaluating the performance of our proposed technique.
