In numerical computation of the scattered field by a circular disk of a perfect conductor, good results can be obtained by using multiple precision arithmetic. However, the computation wastes time using multiple precision arithmetic. Therefore, in this study, we use acceleration methods and aim to accelerate the numerical computation of scattered field by a conductive circular disk using parallel computing. As the acceleration method, multiple precision floating point library QD, computation by double precision and parallel computing by GPU are used. As a result, the numerical computation by double precision and parallel computing by GPU have a great acceleration effect. |
