Harmonic tuning circuit using 1-port CRLH transmission line and its application to power amplifiers

(in English) With the spread of next-generation mobile communication systems, high efficiency and miniaturization of base station amplifiers (PAs) are important goals. In order to improve efficiency, a method of applying a harmonic processing circuit to an amplifier has been studied, but in a design using a conventional microstrip line, the circuit size becomes large and it is difficult to mount it on an amplifier. Therefore, we have proposed to use a right-handed / left-handed composite line (CRLH line) as a part of the harmonic processing circuit, and have tried to reduce the circuit size. In this paper, we have examined a method of configuring a harmonic processing circuit with only one port of CRLH line for further miniaturization.
