[Poster Presentation] Evaluation on JPEG Image Compression History Analysis Using Histogram of DCT Coefficients with Different Block Size

(in English) The image taken with a digital comera is usually JPEG-compressed when saved. On the other hand, the tampered image is carried out 2 or more compression because JPEG compression is carried out after the manipulation again. Its feature appears as the distortion in the DCT coefficient by the difference in the quantization tables. In the conventional research, multiple pairs of frequencies suitable for distortion detection were selected, and a histogram was extracted as a feature component for each DCT coefficient value of each pair. We trained a convolutional neural network (CNN) with multiple histograms as inputs, but the target image was in relatively large block units. In this study, we analyze the deterioration of detection accuracy caused by reducing the block size. Because a classification in the block size as small as possible is effective to identify the tampared area, check the items to be adjusted in the CNN model and their appropriate parameter values so that they can be detected with a small block size while suppressing the decrease in accuracy.
