[Poster Presentation] Fabrication of birefringent optical component by electron beam

(in English) The q-plate is an optical component that can transform the spatial mode of light. In order to fabricate a q-plate, we designed and fabricated a periodic structure expected to exhibit birefringence with an electron beam exposure apparatus. An optical experiment was conducted to confirm whether the produced device had birefringence characteristics, and we found that birefringence characteristics were generated in only a part of the exposed area. In the future, we will improve our process so that birefringence characteristics will be generated in the entire exposed area, and fabricate q-plates.
