A Study on Quantification Analysis when class observation between Beginner Teacher and Expert Teacher
Sho Ooi (Rits), Takeshi Goto (Oji E.S.) ET2020-42
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Beginner teachers are low teaching ability than expert teachers because they are a few teaching experiences in practice. For instance, teachers in elementary school must lecture 25 units per week. To improve a beginner teacher's class quality, they experience the class in an actual scene and observe other teachers' classes. In particular, student teachers and beginner teachers do not know which part to focus on when observing the lesson because they are a few experiences in practice; therefore, they observe the lessons with intuition and little experience. This study aims to develop an efficient feedback system for the class to improve student teachers and beginner teachers' class ability. This feedback system visualizes a difference in observation ability between a beginner teacher and an expert teacher.
