A Method to Arrange Information in Room by Coordinating Smartphones and Projectors

In this research, we propose a method for realizing an interior space in which only information exists by eliminating objects that display information in everyday space. In recent years, IoT-related technologies have been developed and various objects are now able to be connected to the Internet. However, the nature of an object that displays information does not change, even when it is connected to the Internet. And if you can get information from the thing, the thing doesn't have to exist in interior space. In this paper, we use a projector to project information that exists in a room. The user can design and place the projected information in the room by themselves. We propose a method for mapping the indoor environment and superimposing virtual information on the space using a smartphone. The virtual information is projected onto the real space using a projector and remains in the space, allowing the user to access the information seamlessly. |
