| 抄録 | （和） | 本稿では、coil（Combination Of Initial Letters）式学習法を利用した英単語学習 web システムを開発し、評価を行う。コイル式とは一つのキーワードから、それに関 連する英単語を、キーワードを構成しているそれぞれの文字に結び付けたものであ る。コイル式英単語学習法には、手作業によりコイル式の生成を行っているめ、 生成されたコイル式で利用される英単語の難易度の調整が困難といった問題点がこれまであった。 そこで、本稿では計算機を用いたコイル式の自動生成に取り組み、さらに、生成された コイル式を web システムを通して学習者に学習する環境を提供する。システムでは、英単 語に対して、それぞれ、そのイメージ図を示し、さらに、発音を聞くことができるよ うにしている。さらに、今回開発した web システムの coil 式学習法を利用した場 合と、英単語帳を利用した学習の場合において、英単語テストの点数による定着度を 評価した。結果、英単語帳を利用した学習より、今回開発した web システムで学習 した場合の方が高い学習効果が得られていることが分かった。また、開発したwebシ ステムを利用したユーザーに対して実施したアンケートを取った結果、学習しやすい と感じたユーザーが多く見られた。 |
| （英） | In this paper, we develop and evaluate an English vocabulary learning web system that uses the coil (Combination Of Initial Letters) learning method. The coil method is a method that associates a single keyword with a set of related English words for each of the letters that make up the keyword. The problem with the coil method is that it is difficult to adjust the difficulty level of the English words used in the generated questions, since the questions are generated manually. Therefore, in this paper, we will tackle the automatic generation of questions using a computer, and provide an environment where learners can study the generated questions through a web system. The system shows an image of each English word and allows the learner to listen to its pronunciation. In addition, we evaluated the degree of retention by the score of the English vocabulary test in the case of using the coil learning method of the web system developed in this study and in the case of using the English vocabulary book. As a result, it was found that the learning effect was higher when the students studied with the our developed web system than when they studied with the English vocabulary book. The results of the questionnaire survey conducted on the users who used the developed web system showed that many users felt that the system was easy to learn. |
